# Aave Documentation

Aave is a decentralized, non-custodial liquidity protocol where users supply assets to earn yield and borrow against collateral. Interest rates, collateral checks, and liquidations run onchain, so integrators build on shared liquidity instead of operating their own.

Integrate with AaveKit, the React, TypeScript, and GraphQL SDKs, or call the Aave smart contracts directly.
